It’s been a busy one so only two entries in the vault this week:
- The 2017 Failure Workshop – a humbling description of some of the failed attempts at indie games this year. Not that the games are not any good, it’s just that certain things could have been done better to ensure the games success. A really refreshing perspective compared to usual success stories you hear. And Videoball actually looks awesome!
- Rami Ismail to Indie Startups: You Don’t Stand a Chance – a talk from the 2015 Control Conference by one half of Vlambeer about the pitfalls and difficulties of an indie startup. Lots of really good thoughts to be had.
This week’s entries may seem a bit negative but I believe it’s important to study both sides of the story and prepare yourself to deal with the struggles that come with an endeavour of passion like indie dev.
Have a great weekend!
