Changes Late In The Game

Yesterday I spent the whole day getting Glo close to its finished state. It was a long day but thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding. Glo is now just a few small changes away from completion. It’s really exciting.

But even at this late stage I’m still looking at making some changes to things such as the baddie graphics. It feels like everytime I get close, something else creeps in.

The thing is I’m constantly looking for feedback to ensure that when Glo releases it’s in the best state possible. After putting the trailer on Reddit for some feedback the main comments I got was that the floating enemy looked out of place graphically and that it’s difficult to see what the game play is. Therfore I’ll be changing the floating baddie and putting together a new trailer for release.

It would be nice to not have new tasks creep in as I aim to do the final push for Glo. But despite the extra effort it might add in now it will be worth it if it can make the difference in the end. If they don’t make a huge difference then it’s just some time lost. But if they do make a difference and I don’t do anything about it, then it will be too late after release day.
