It was nice to get a chance to have a week to sit back, relax, eat a lot of cake and reflect on how the past month and a half has gone during the development of Glo. I won’t lie, I was hoping for a bit more interest on the Glo beta. Currently it’s only at 58 views and 13 downloads on itch.io. But as I took time to reflect I realised that it personally feels like I’ve done a lot more to publicise Glo than I did for Cute Cat Splat. However in reality I’ve put a lot of work putting the pieces in place ready to publicise it but not actually pulled the metaphorical trigger yet. That makes it a bit less stressful, knowing that I still have plants to seed.
The scary part is knowing that I still have that effort to put in. I’m hoping to release Glo in mid October but there is still a lot left to do.
I need to get my press kit complete, attractive and professional.
I need to actually turn all those emails into lines of communications.
I’ve yet to complete the lengthy sign up process with Steam before I can even get a coming soon page.
And I still have 60 levels, 3 bosses and a lot of finishing touches and fixes to add to Glo.
So after a week to reflect, reorganise and replan it’s time for the final stretch… bring it on!
