Payday!

Hey everyone, how’s it going?
So I was busy doing family stuff last night so I didn’t get round to my evening post, but I didn’t really have much to anyway.
So it was payday today and I splashed out on the PC licence for GameMaker, I paid for a year’s hosting (I’m going to be moving this site to www.chronikspartan.com in the next few weeks) and I decided to treat myself to Pixel Vision 8.
Pixel Vision 8 is a really cool game making tool made by Jesse Freeman which I heard about on lostcast. It’s essentially a dev environment for creating authentic 8-bit games. It sounds really amazing! It lets you create games based on the limitations that existed in the 8 bit era which sounds really cool. I’m going to wait for a bit before I dive in headfirst and have some fun with it but I wanted to share my support because he sounds like a great guy who I can relate to in terms of following his creative passion alongside being a husband and father. I totally recommend you guys check it out.
Also as I stated before I’ll be moving this site over to www.chronikspartan.com in the next couple of weeks. I’ll copy everything over and I’m going to set this page up to redirect as well so the transition should hopefully be pretty smooth.
Other than that I’m going to be pushing on with Glow (considering calling it Lantern now) now I have a full GameMaker build and I’ll be releasing more info about it also in the coming weeks.
Hope you all have great weekends!
Thanks
Stav
